We recommend 1-2% of annual income as dues for Pay What You Can Ez'rah memberships if this is feasible for you. If you select one of these options, you will then see a field to enter an amount that is meaningful for you for dues.

All dues may be paid either at one time or in payments split over several months. The option to split payments will be available after you submit this form.

Deepen Your Engagement With Romemu

While membership dues are essential to the health and well-being of our community, they do not by themselves define membership.

Your engagement with your community through showing up for Shabbat and holiday services, participating in learning, joining us for meals and other programs, and giving of your time in service to your community is what will determine how much you benefit from your involvement with Romemu. Your commitment to showing up and volunteering your time in service to your community is an invaluable contribution to our community.

Therefore we ask you to consider the options below for deepening your engagement with Romemu.

Commit to Engagement

We ask you to commit to being an active member of the Romemu community. One measure of this (though certainly not the only one) is how often you join us for Shabbat services.

Will you commit to joining us in the synagogue or Zoomagogue for at least 1 Shabbat service per month this year or a total of 12 over the year?

Of course, we hope we will join us more frequently. Keep up to date on all the options for engagement by reading our weekly Romemu Now newsletter, which arrives in your inbox every Wednesday.

Make a Pledge to Donate Your Time to Romemu

We know how valuable your time is. That is why we value every one of the many volunteers who contribute their time and energy to sustaining our community. Volunteering strengthens our community and makes so many of our programs and offerings possible and is also a great way for you to connect with other Romemu members, deepening your connection to your community.

Ready to make a time pledge?
Check the box below next to the volunteer opportunity that interests you. We will connect with you within the next 2 weeks to help you get involved with your area of interest.

Annual Gift

Meaningful and impactful services, life-long learning, exuberant music, social action, and opportunities for deep communal connection that define Romemu require a lot of heart, a lot of soul, a lot of sweat, and a lot of money.  Membership dues cover less about 20% of costs.

The rest comes from discretionary gifts from generous donors like you. Please consider making a donation above and beyond your membership dues to nourish and sustain your community.

Your annual gift will help cover costs for members who are unable to cover the price of dues.

We also invite you to view Romemu Sponsorship Opportunities and select a date(s) during the year that is meaningful to you to sponsor Romemu services, courses, or programs that are valuable to you.
A FEW LAST QUESTIONS

STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR

In joining Romemu as a member, I/we agree to uphold the physical, emotional, and spiritual safety of all members of the Romemu community at all Romemu functions and events.

As a Romemu member, I/we agree to act in ways that respect the sacred communal space where Romemu and other religious communities gather and pray.

In the event that I violate these Standards of Behavior, I acknowledge that the Romemu Ethics Committee reserves the right to bar me from participating in Romemu's services, programs, and community.

By becoming a member of Romemu, I agree to abide by any determinations made by the ethics committee and further agree to waive and release any and all claims against Romemu clergy, staff, board members and members of the ethics committee with respect to any such committee review and determinations.
This amount should reflect the total dues for the membership level you selected. If this field is showing $0, please return to the "Membership Levels and Dues" section of this form to select the right membership level for you. If you need assistance, please contact membership@romemu.org.
You will have the choice to pay the full amount at once either online or by check or to create a payment plan through which you may choose to pay in smaller increments over several months.

Payment options will appear on the next page.
