Join us for an evening celebrating Rabbi Jill Hammer’s new fantasy novel The Moonstone Covenant!  Havdalah begins at 5:30, followed by music from Shoshana Jedwab and Judah Goldman, a reading from the book, a conversation between Jill and Rabbi Dianne Cohler-Esses about the themes of the novel, and a light dinner.  Reviewer Zoe L. Tongue writes, "Jill Hammer's first fantasy novel offers beautifully detailed worldbuilding and, like Le Guin's work, is underpinned by themes of gender, sexuality, prejudice, and politics,” and Jonathan Vatner writes: "Part murder mystery, part political thriller, part fantasy epic, The Moonstone Covenant celebrates the power and wisdom of books, the natural world, and queer love
